Made with the object in mind.

Each Picturing Places print is produced for an order rather than kept as pre-printed stock. This avoids unsold inventory and helps reduce overproduction. It does not make production waste-free, and we do not describe it that way.

The current range uses sustainably sourced, natural-white, smooth 200 gsm Enhanced Matte fine-art paper with a matte finish. It is giclée printed using water-based pigment inks.

The exact finished dimensions can depend on the production region, so the dimensions shown in the Creator and checkout are the ones to review before ordering.

Framed prints pair the artwork with a solid, satin-laminated wood frame and Perspex glaze. The natural finish uses real wood with an oak-effect laminate. The frame is delivered ready to hang.

Wooden hangers use solid wood, discreet magnetic fastening and a colour-coordinated cord. The paper or wood used for the framed and hanger products in our range is sustainably sourced.

Across production, we avoid plastic where practicable and prioritise packaging that is recyclable, biodegradable or made from recycled content. Some products still need protective materials.

Exact packaging varies with the product, size and production location. Unframed prints in the sizes we offer are delivered rolled. A claim that the print itself is plastic-free is not a promise that every shipment is entirely plastic-free.

Our production network is designed to route orders closer to their destination where capacity and product availability allow. Shorter routes can reduce transport, but we do not guarantee that every order will be produced locally or in a particular country.

Available destinations, shipping services and charges are confirmed during checkout.
