Picturing Places

Map data provenance

Keep this card with your Picturing Places download or print. It is intended for a print’s backing, packaging, or your download records—not for the artwork’s front.

Map data

OpenStreetMap data is available under the Open Data Commons Open Database Licence (ODbL). openstreetmap.org/copyright

Some low-detail world-base views also use Natural Earth data. Geoapify is used only to search for places and is not a map-data source in the delivered artwork.
